01

1 · PRICING

Pricing and Currency

All Leather Unit prices are listed in US Dollars (USD) unless another currency is specifically displayed. Prices can change without notice, and Leather Unit may correct pricing errors or cancel an order affected by an obvious pricing mistake.

For international customers, the amount charged by a bank or card issuer can differ from the displayed USD price because of currency conversion rates or financial-institution fees.

Leather Unit is not responsible for exchange-rate movements or conversion charges applied independently by a customer’s bank or payment provider.
02

2 · METHODS

Accepted Payment Methods

Leather Unit currently lists secure payment methods including:

  • Visa
  • Mastercard
  • American Express
  • Discover
  • Shop Pay
  • Apple Pay
  • Google Pay
  • PayPal, where available

The exact options shown at checkout can vary by country, device, currency, browser and payment-provider availability.

Banks, card issuers and payment providers may apply their own currency conversion rates or fees.
03

3 · SECURITY

Secure Payment Processing

Leather Unit uses Shopify-powered checkout and SSL encryption to support secure online payment processing. Payment information is transmitted through payment services used by the store.

Leather Unit does not store complete customer credit card numbers on its own website servers. The payment provider handles sensitive card processing and returns transaction information needed to confirm, manage or refund an order.

Never send full card numbers, CVV codes, online-banking passwords or one-time security codes to Leather Unit by email or chat.
04

4 · AUTHORIZATION

Payment Authorization and Order Review

Submitting an order authorizes the selected payment provider to process or authorize the transaction according to its rules. An order confirmation email shows that the order was received, but an order may still be subject to payment validation, fraud checks, inventory review or other verification before shipment.

If additional information is reasonably required to verify a payment or order, Leather Unit may contact the customer before fulfillment.

Banks, card issuers and payment providers may apply their own currency conversion rates or fees.
05

5 · DECLINED PAYMENTS

Declined or Failed Payments

A payment can be declined for reasons controlled by the customer’s bank, card issuer, wallet provider or payment processor. Common reasons can include incorrect billing details, insufficient funds, transaction limits, bank security checks, expired card details or technical interruptions.

If payment fails, confirm the billing information and payment details, then contact your bank or payment provider if the problem continues. You can also contact Leather Unit support if checkout appears to be malfunctioning.

Leather Unit generally cannot override a decline issued by a bank, card network or wallet provider.
06

6 · AUTHORIZATION HOLDS

Pending Charges and Authorization Holds

Some banks or payment providers can show a temporary pending authorization even when an order is not completed. A pending authorization is not always the same as a completed charge.

The release timing for an unsuccessful or cancelled authorization is controlled by the bank or payment provider. If a pending amount remains for an unusual period, contact your financial institution for the most accurate status.

Banks, card issuers and payment providers may apply their own currency conversion rates or fees.
07

7 · DUPLICATE ATTEMPTS

Duplicate Payment Attempts

If checkout appears slow or an error message appears, avoid repeatedly submitting payment without first checking whether an order confirmation was created. Multiple attempts can sometimes produce multiple pending authorizations.

If you believe you were charged more than once for the same Leather Unit order, contact support with your order number and non-sensitive transaction information so the issue can be reviewed.

Banks, card issuers and payment providers may apply their own currency conversion rates or fees.
08

8 · INTERNATIONAL

International Payments and Currency Conversion

International customers may be charged in USD or in another checkout-supported currency where available. A bank, card issuer or wallet provider may convert the amount into the customer’s local currency.

Conversion rates, international transaction fees and similar financial-institution charges are set by those providers and are separate from Leather Unit’s product price.

Banks, card issuers and payment providers may apply their own currency conversion rates or fees.
09

9 · REFUNDS

Refunds to the Original Payment Method

When a refund is approved under the applicable Leather Unit Refund & Return Policy or cancellation terms, the refund is returned through the original payment method.

The current return policy states that Leather Unit processes approved refunds within 5 business days. After processing, a bank or credit card company may take an additional 3–5 business days to post the credit.

Refund eligibility is determined by the applicable refund, return, cancellation or withdrawal policy rather than by this Payment Policy alone.

Banks, card issuers and payment providers may apply their own currency conversion rates or fees.
10

10 · CANCELLATIONS

Order Cancellations and Payment Reversals

Cancellation requests should be made before shipment and are governed by Leather Unit’s applicable cancellation and refund terms. If a cancellation is approved after payment was captured, the payment is refunded using the appropriate original-payment-method process.

If only an authorization exists and the charge has not fully settled, the payment provider or bank may release the authorization instead of posting a separate refund.

Banks, card issuers and payment providers may apply their own currency conversion rates or fees.
11

11 · FRAUD PREVENTION

Fraud Prevention and Payment Verification

Leather Unit and its ecommerce or payment service providers may use automated or manual checks intended to identify suspicious, unauthorized or high-risk transactions.

An order may be delayed, reviewed, declined or cancelled where payment validation fails, information cannot be verified, or fraud or unauthorized activity is reasonably suspected.

Banks, card issuers and payment providers may apply their own currency conversion rates or fees.
12

12 · DISPUTES

Payment Disputes and Chargebacks

If you do not recognize a Leather Unit transaction or believe there is a payment error, contact us promptly so the order and transaction can be reviewed.

If you initiate a chargeback or payment dispute with a bank or payment provider, Leather Unit may provide relevant order, delivery and communication records to the provider as part of the dispute process.

For routine order issues, contacting Leather Unit first can often make it easier to identify the transaction and determine the correct next step.
13

13 · THIRD-PARTY SERVICES

Payment Providers and Third-Party Terms

Payment methods such as card networks, digital wallets and PayPal are operated by third parties. Their own terms, privacy notices, security procedures, eligibility rules and transaction limits may also apply when you use their service.

Leather Unit is not able to control independent bank, card-network or wallet-provider decisions such as declines, account restrictions, exchange rates or authorization-release timing.

Banks, card issuers and payment providers may apply their own currency conversion rates or fees.
14

14 · UPDATES

Changes to This Payment Policy

Leather Unit may update this Payment Policy when payment methods, checkout technology, currencies, fraud controls, refund processes or legal requirements change. The Last Updated date at the top of this page should be revised whenever material wording changes.

Banks, card issuers and payment providers may apply their own currency conversion rates or fees.
